In order to study the dynamic characteristics of the solar wind plasma, IMF sector boundaries detected between 0.3 and 1.0 AU by both the Helios 1 and 2 satellites are analyzed. No differentiation is found between the mechanisms of energy transport at sector boundaries and inside sectors, and no dominance of cooler plasma is noted. The results suggest an invariance of the momentum flux density in the solar wind along the magnetic boundaries.
