This paper consists of brief engineering descriptions of the experiments to be integrated into the Pioneer Venus Orbiter and Multiprobe scientific payloads. Attention is given to the Bus Neutral Mass Spectrometer, the Bus/Orbiter Ion Mass Spectrometer, the Large Probe Neutral Mass Spectrometer, the Large Probe Gas Chromatograph, the Large Probe Solar Flux Radiometer, the Large Probe Infrared Radiometer, the Large Probe Cloud Particle Size Spectrometer, the Large Probe/Small Probe Nephelometer, the Large Probe/Small Probe Atmosphere Structure experiments, the Small Probe Net Flux Radiometer, Differential Long Baseline Interferometry, the Orbiter Retarding Potential Analyzer, the Orbiter Electron Temperature Probe, the Orbiter Magnetometer, the Orbiter Cloud Photopolarimeter, the Orbiter Infrared Radiometer, the Orbiter Ultraviolet Spectrometer, the Orbiter Radar Mapper Instrument, the Orbiter Gamma Ray Burst Detector, the Orbiter Dual Frequency experiments, and the Orbiter Celestial Mechanics experiment.
