A suggested composition and spatial distribution of the Venusian clouds are set forth, based on an analysis of the experimental data obtained from the unmanned interplanetary Venera and Mariner missions. It is assumed that the Venusian cloud layer, localized at an altitude of 50 to 65 km, consists of condensed water vapor and is not a solid formation enveloping the entire planet.
