Some early models by Roxburgh and Strittmatter of rotating stars with circulation-free rotation laws have been recomputed. Some significant errors have been found: the changes in luminosity and radius due to rotation are mostly much smaller than the published values. This decreases the predicted spread of the main sequence and may also have indirect effects on other papers.
