An outline is presented of a simple method for reducing errors in the albedo as generated by the two-stream method in the case of isotropic scattering, taking into account investigations conducted by Cicerone et al. (1973) and Swartz (1976). Approaches for estimating the pitch angle distributions are also discussed. Backscattered escape fluxes are considered, giving attention to error comparisons of the net photoelectron backscattered fluxes as computed by different methods.
