HARMONI provides a powerful E-ELT spectroscopic capability, in the
visible and near-infrared (0.47-2.45 μm), at resolving powers ~ 4000,
10000 and 20000. Its integral field delivers ~ 32000 simultaneous
spectra, at scales ranging from seeing-limited to diffraction-limited.
