In deuteron elastic scattering an energy dependence of the tensor analyzing powers is studied. The cross sections and some polarization oservables are calculated at several incident energies with the method of continuum-discretized coupled channels. A relationship between Ayy and Axx has a form Ayy~=-2Axx at low incident energies (Ed<100 MeV), but it seems to be Ayy~=-Axx at relatively high incident energies (Ed>~200 MeV). The origin of the energy dependence has been discussed. .
