Three days satellite-workshop on polarized electron source (PES) and polarimeter was held at Iris-Aichi hotel in Nagoya during Oct. 12 to 14, just prior to the Spin-2000 symposium. This is the seventh in a row of similar satellite-workshop, which was first held at Stanford in 1983. It is a good tradition of this workshop to invite not only scientists working in high-energy physics but also those in atomic, surface and semiconductor physics. It is inevitable since polarized electrons are produced in GaAs-type semiconductors by optical pumping and emitted through a potential barrier by using the NEA (Negative Electron Affinity) technique. Therefore the exchange of information between both communities are very important for advance of this research field. In fact, there were totally 58 participants and a half of them, 29(12) persons came from 11 (2) institutions of high-energy physics, and another half, 29(24) persons came from 16(11) institutions of material science (the numbers in parentheses shows domestic one). Fortunately, we could share so called ``gemütlich'' atmosphere with each other during two-day working and one-day excursion. The workshop contributions consist of 23 oral and 13 poster presentations. There were many interesting and important reports, but it is impossible for me to make a complete review of all contributions due to the page limit. Therefore, I will try here to give a rough sketch of present achievements and further problems in this field. I ask you for more details to see each report included in this proceeding. .
