Galactic Center, Oh Maser, Supernova Remnants

Scientific paper

A brief overview of a class of OH (1720 MHz) masers is given. In
particular, the usefulness of these newly rediscovered masers as a probe
of C-Type Shocks, the magnetic field behind shock fronts, the scattering
medium and the gas dynamics are described.
