Consideration is given to observations of a sharp decrease in the polar nighttime concentration of Cs-137 over the Antarctic coast long before the spring minimum, with a subsequent restoration in the spring. It is proposed that the delay of the soluble aerosols in the polar stratosphere in winter is dependent on their capture by particles of polar stratospheric clouds. Observations of radioactive tracers support the existence of mechanisms of the photochemical decomposition and dynamic interlatitude redistribution of Antarctic ozone. The results do not confirm the dynamic redistribution of ozone in the spring with rising fluxes in the polar atmosphere.
