Scientific paper

Calculations of the azimuthal asymmetry of the spatial distribution function of EAS-muons, due to the action of the earth's magnetic field, show that this function has a minimum in the direction of the field and a maximum (of particle density) at a right angle to the field. In the present paper, an attempt is made to determine experimentally the magnitude of this effect.
