Results are presented on the He and Ne isotope analyses of gas samples extracted from the Siljan Ring (Sweden) borehole drilled for methane exploration. The He-3/He-4 ratio of the Siljan borehole is well-established at R/R(A) = 0.015, as measured in 12 deep samples below 5700 m in one of the side-track holes. No evidence was obtained for the presence of any mantle helium in the Siljan granite.
