Results are presented for a study on small reflector antennas with two independent beams, with special emphasis on the crossover level. It is shown that with the input ports almost decoupled simultaneously, the crossover level can be enhanced by applying controlled coupling to front-fed linearly polarized parabolic antennas of about 10 deg beamwidth. A second method to raise crossover level by means of lossy directional coupler is also described.
