We observed the recent Leonid meteor storm with CCD in 1998 and 1999.
The high spatial resolution light curves extracted from the
two-dimensional images of the bright Leonid meteors clearly show
in-flight fragmentation of these meteors, which is the first direct
evidence supporting the dustball meteor model.
