Average quiet-time E x B drift patterns are here constructed on the basis of incoherent scatter radar observations of ion drifts at Millstone Hill station obtained during 73 experiments over the February 1974-February 1992 period. Summer, winter, and equinox seasons are treated for both solar cycle maximum and minimum. The daily variation of V(perpendicular-N) has a reversal from northward to southward drifts near local noon, and a return to eastward drifts in the evening.
