Accretion of a perfect fluid is discussed within the framework of an exact relativistic solution. [Loren I. Petrich et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 60, 1781-1784 (1988)] Flow lines of matter accreted onto a rotating black hole are constructed graphically. Asymptotically aligned and asymptotically perpendicular flows (with respect to the rotation axis) are both considered. The mass accretion rate across the hemisphere located on the horizon is evaluated and its dependence on the asymptotic flow direction is discussed.
