It is pointed out that there is an ambiguity about the total entropy of the Sun. If so, there are some rather theoretical problems about the principles of the evolution of the solar system; but, certainly, there may be practical problems too when calculating the evolution of the Sun itself. The ambiguity originates from the fact that the gravity, bounding together the Sun, is a volume self-interaction with positive feedback. Therefore the local state of any small volume element of the Sun depends on the whole Sun around. The Sun is not simply a sum of the local matter elements.
