To determine the structure and spectral properties of the cooling flow
around NGC4696 in the core of the Centaurus Cluster (Allen & Fabian,
269, 409, 1994; Fabian et al, ApJ, 436, L63, 1994). This includes
measurement of the temperatures of the multiphase medium, excess
absorption, and the abundance gradients.
