To determine the structure and spectral properties of the cooling flow around NGC1275 in the core of the Perseus Cluster, A426 (Fabian et al ApJ 248, 47, 1981; Fabian et al 1994 ApJ 436, L63). This includes measurement of the temperatures of the multiphase medium, excess absorption, any abundance gradients and study of the interaction of the radio lobes with the surrounding gas (Bohringer et al MN 264, L25, 1993).
