By monitoring M31 on a monthly basis we will be able to detect transients and follow thier evolution. Follow-up visits to newly discovered transients will be planned in order to monitor their spectral evolution during decay. These observations will provide a detailed look at the transient population of the nearest galaxy similar to the milky way.
