The importance of studying Pre-Main Sequence (PMS) δ Scuti stars is discussed and the state of the art is reviewed from both theoretical and observational points of view. New observational data are presented for V351 Ori and IP Per. The open problems in the study of these young pulsators are mainly connected to the limitations of ground based observations. Eddington could definitely help to solve these problems by allowing accurate and continuous observations.
