We present a brief overview of the "Berlin Exoplanet Search Telescope"
(BEST), a small ground-based system to search for extrasolar planets
with the photometric transit method. As an example of the lightcurves
obtained, a target object is shown, illustrating the problem of crowding
in the field, which Eddington will also have to consider.
