Riometer-absorption measurements performed at frequencies of 9-40 MHz at the Loparskoi and Tikski high-latitude stations are analyzed. It is shown that, in certain radio-frequency intervals, the absorption spectrum is steeper than that predicted by the theory based on the consideration of electron pair collisions. This result is interpreted as due to the additional absorption of cosmic radio noise by plasma turbulence.
