Exact Solutions, Particle-Theory And Field-Theory Models Of The Early Universe
Scientific paper
The interaction of plane domain walls (which act as sources) with a massless scalar field is investigated. Exact solutions of the Einstein-scalar field equations that represent such interaction are found and studied. In particular, it is found that the surface energy density σ of the wall always exponentially decreases as the time develops. The space-time is singular at spacelike infinities. The proper distance from the wall to these singularities is finite and inversely proportional to √σ .
