The model of a spherically symmetric explosion of a geostationary object is constructed. The evolution of the cloud of fragments was investigated with the aid of the numerical model of artificial satellite motion. The maximal and minimal initial velocities are determined for fragments in the cloud. The collision velocities of the fragments with the satellites and the collision energy are calculated.
