Observations of high-energy solar phenomena are reviewed, including phenomena associated with solar flares, high-energy quantum emissions, high-energy particle emissions, and plasma ejections. The prospects for future observations are discussed, including the launching of two Japanese satellites, Solar-A and Geotail, to study quantum and particle emissions associated with solar flares.
