A five night observing run on the Anglo-Australian Telescope (AAT) using 2dF was undertaken in 2004 December to spectroscopically confirm LMC emission candidates as PNe and to eliminate contaminants such as HII regions and emission-line stars.
The observations provided ~4000 spectra. Individual exposure times were mostly 1200s using the 300B grating with a central wavelength of 5852Å and a wavelength range of 3600-8000Å at a dispersion of 4.30Å/pix.
