The event of 20 Feb., 1988 is analyzed and a new sunspot group emerging
in the western of the solar disk is presented with characteristics of
fast evolution, converse polarity, anomalous arrangement of sunspot and
rapidly increased SVC with type A1 spectrum etc., which may be the
forecasting factors for occuring of some flare events.
