IT has been shown that the log N/log S curve for radiosources of high
galactic latitude is a straight line with a slope of - 1.85 +/- 0.05-at
least for fluxes greater than 9 × 10-26 W
m-2 (c/s)-1 at 178 Mc/s (ref. 1). (N is the number
of sources brighter than the flux S.)
