Solar Cosmic Rays: Propagation, Solar Cosmic Rays: Interplanetary Matter

The results of the numerical solution of the equation of propagation of energetic solar particles in the interplanetary magnetic field for a momentary source are presented. The temporal trend at the Earth's orbit of the density, anisotropy, and particle pitch-angle distribution function are determined. With values of the transport mean-free path Λ > 0.2 a.u., the results differ significantly from the results of the elementary diffusion model. The parameters of the temporal profiles permitting comparison with experiment are given.
