The VLA has been used to obtain images of the June 23, 1988 M8.1 flare at 333 MHz, and 1.5 and 4.7 GHz. Frequency-agile interformeter amplitude and total power spectra of the flare at 45 frequencies in the 1-18 GHz range were also obtained. These data reveal a multiply impulsive microwave burst of essentially thermal character. At 1.5 GHz, in addition to stationary discrete components which are temporally and spatially associated with distant brightenings in H-alpha, there is a dynamical component associated with hot plasma that is moving subsonically into the corona, as well as intense burst activity near the lead sunspot in the active region. Attention is given to the transport of energy from the initial site to the sites of distant H-alpha brightenings.
