Advances of research in the recent thirty years concerning the
constitution and kinematics of the stellar group in the Gould Belt near
the Sun are reviewed. Some theoretical models for the kinematics of the
Galaxy are discussed. The authors put forward also the primary proposal
to research these parts with the FK5 catalogue system.
