The Maison five-to-three dimensional reduction, generalized to the case
of five-dimensional general relativity with sources, is applied to the
problem of confining the scalar field of the Kaluza-Klein wormhole
soliton by a very weak perfect fluid source, without affecting the
spatial geometry of this localized solution.
