The paper presents variations of the frequency spectrum of riometric absorption with allowance for the filling factor of the riometer radiation pattern. The calculations show that inclusion of the filling factor leads to a reduced value of the power index s of the frequency dependence of the absorption. The composition of absorptions in the D and E layers can have a power dependence with an index s that can be less than as well as greater than 2.
