Capabilities of imaging spectroscopy with Multichannel Subtractive Double Pass (MSPD) spectrographs are recalled. The imaging spectroscopy with MSDP spectrographs allows very high spatial resolution and fast time sequences over two dimensional solar targets. It is shown that the MSDP are very suitable for coordinated experiments between ground based and space observations.
