Photoelectric UBV photometry in the field of the old open cluster NGC 6791 has determined the foreground reddening of the cluster to be 0.13 and the distance modulus 14.0, by analysis of the color-magnitude (CM) and two-color diagrams along with published spectral types of several cluster stars. For a heavy-element abundance of 0.02, isochrome fitting to the CW diagram suggests that the cluster is about 700 million years old. An apparent radial field error in B (or B-V) of less than about 0.10 mag is noted in published photographic photometry of the cluster, and its effects on the integral properties of the cluster are discussed.
