A simple model describing the kinetics of a dust medium is proposed. The
model simulates some observable nonequilibrium processes leading to
planetary rings, galaxies and large scale fold structures in space. The
stability of the process of galaxy-like structure formation is related
with the evolution of the system to dissipative attractors.
