From 54 radio aurorae recorded at Kühlungsborn ([Phi] = 54°) since 1958 by a 33 Mc/s radar with rotating antenna some results are reported concerning the echo geometry, the remarkably small variations in height of the echoing region, the diurnal seasonal and sunspot cycle variations of auroral echo activity and the correlation with geomagnetic activity, being systematically dependent on season.
