A statistical study of proton, GLE (Ground Level Effect), γ-ray
and X-ray events has been carried out. It is found that there is a
"preferred region" of proton and GLE events between 20°W and
80°W in the active regions, but there are not "preferred regions" of
electron events derived from γ-ray and X-ray events.
