Nucleosynthesis bounds on Jordan-Brans-Dicke theories of gravity are updated using improved determinations of 4He, D + 3He and 7Li primordial abundances and neutron life-time. We find, for Nv = 3 and most of the allowed Ω0h02 range, stronger bounds than those obtained from post-newtonian experiments, ∥ω∥ > 250 (2σ). In particular at 2σ level, ω > 380 (440) for Ω0h02 = 0.25 (1). Furthermore, it is suggested that GR predictions with Nv = 3 are hardly consistent with nucleosynthesis observations at 90% CL, while GR with Nv = 2 seems to accommodate better the observations.
