We describe the apparatus built to perform the JEM-X ground calibration.
The apparatus, that is located at the Ferrara University, permits us to
scan the X-ray detector surface with a monochromatic beam of energy that
can be selected in the energy range from 15 to 120 keV. We also discuss
how to perform the instrument calibration at lower energies.
