We give a very brief summary of our recent multiwavelength spectral and energy dependent variability studies of the Galactic black hole candidates GRS 1758-258, GX 339-4, Cygnus X-1, 1E 1740.7-2942, and GRS 1915+105. The energy dependent variability behavior of Cygnus X-1 is highlighted. It is shown that this does not depend on the orbital phase, but may be related to longer periods in the binary system. INTEGRAL will play a key role in future studies of these and similar sources because of its ability to simultaneously study the optical through gamma-ray spectrum in detail, because it has good time resolution for studying the variability, and because its imaging capabilities will reduce the problems of confusing sources and background subtraction.
