On behalf of a larger collaboration, we report results of a BeppoSAX observational program devoted to study the 0.1-200 keV spectral properties of new X-ray novae expected to hide black hole candidates. We discuss three new X-ray novae: XTE J0421+560 that went to outburst in 1998, XTE J1859+226 that outbursted in 1999, and XTE J1118+480 that has gone to outburst this years. The results on XTE J1859+226 and XTE J1118+480 are still very preliminary.
