Wide variations in clast assemblages and bulk compositions are found in the matrix and clasts from feldspathic fragmental breccias by means of major and trace element analyses. The major components are found to be anorthosites, ferroan anorthositic norites, magnesian granulites, feldspathic melt rocks, and very high alumina impact melts. The compositional characteristics of bulk breccias and feldspathic melt rocks are quantitatively modeled as two- to five-component mixtures. Breccia 67455 is unique in consisting entirely of ferroan, KREEP-free components.
