Results of analyses of highly siderophile elements in six martian
meteorites are reported. Mars has, as the Earth, obtained its inventory
of these elements by a late veneer. Variable Os/Ir ratios in Nakhla and
ALH84001 may be the result of aqueous activity on Mars.
