The conditions of decimeter radiowave refraction during the probing of the day-side ionosphere of Venus are investigated. The dependences of the refraction angle on the minimum height of the ray are determined based on data about the changes in the frequency of the received signal and the field strength at the point of reception. A method is developed for the recovery of the profile of the vertical gradient of the electron density according to amplitude data. It is shown that the amplitude method can be used to effectively study the structure of the Venus ionosphere.
