The measured non-νe active component of the solar neutrino flux from the pure-D2O phase (at 5 MeV threshold) is 3.41-0.45+0.45(stat.)-0.45+0.48 (syst.) × 106 cm-2s-1, 5.3σ greater than zero. This provides a strong model independent evidence for solar νe flavor transformation. The measured total flux, φNC, is consistent with solar models. A global MSW study based on SNO day-night spectra and existing data strongly favors the LMA region.
