The authors have analysed Wilson's catalogue of stellar radial velocities in a systematic search for suspected spectroscopic binaries. 1179 stars in this catalogue may be spectroscopic binaries. The distribution of these stars among magnitudes and spectral types is discussed and a list of these suspected spectroscopic binaries is presented.
