An experiment is suggested by which the gentle interaction of neutrinos
with nuclei might be detected. The experiment is to record the
temperature of selected volumes of earth or the moon to observe changes
as a function of the solar year in the heat generation rate caused by
the oscillating neutrino flux from the sun striking the earth and moon.
