A highly sensitive system for detection of small quantities of Rn, Tn,
and An by delayed coincidences has been developed. The isotopes are
continually swept from a solution containing their parents into an
-proportional gas counter. Some deep-sea cores were dated and no loss of
Ra by diffusion could be found.
